Rachel Armah names these handsome earrings Aseda Nkaboafo, an Akan phrase that means "thanks to a helper." Always original, the Ghanaian artisan meticulously handcrafts the earrings of natural soapstone and bauxite beads.

"A bit of BoHo"
Love the natural feel of these! The go with all my casual wear, both jeans & dresses. I got them too because of the brass hoops - a nice change from my usual silver.

"Beautiful"
These are substantial and beautiful. The photos cannot show how the light hits the soapstone and turns them from green to yellow to gold to brown to blue...I always get complements on them with my short dark hair!

"Metal not sterling silver"
Earrings were pretty, but the metal was not sterling silver and made my ears hurt.
