This exquisite mask of fine features captures the beauty and proud poise of Mamprusi women of northern Ghana. Daniel Quarcoo decorates the sese wood mask with painted details, including her tall braided hairstyle. Her forehead is decorated with a triangular brass plate embossed by hand.
