Adinkra-Themed African Sese Wood and Aluminum Mask, "Adinkra Beauty"

In hand-embossed aluminum, elephants and traditional adinkra symbols decorate the forehead of this African mask. Ghanaian artisan Paul Ababisa creates this mask, which he carves from sese wood that is given a solid black finish. Accents of embossed aluminum decorate the eyelids and cheeks.

"One of my favorite masks"
First, I bought this mask as a present to a friend but in the end I decided to keep it for myself. I love the look, the great quality and the neat work. My congrats to the artist!
