Faati is a Ghanaian Hausa name that artist Alex Mensah uses for the title of a beautiful impressionistic painting depicting a head porter who takes a little break to catch her breath after running a lot of errands for the day. The artist uses acrylic paints in yellow, red, purple and white on a canvas to create an intimate scene that transports us to the inner world of this brave working woman.
