Acrylic Dance Painting from Ghana, "According to the Rhythm"

"Dance in Africa is key in every occasion," says Ghanaian artist Seth Korkordi Selom, who painted this lush acrylic work. Depicting four dancers, the painting is a tribute to a specific part of Ghana's culture: "Every step in the Northern part of Ghana has meaning," the artist explains, "so these men dance according to the rhythm to project the Ghanaian culture."
