This 950 silver pendant takes its inspiration from mats commonly woven from palm fronds, which are popular in many places with both hot weather and many palm trees. The oxidation serves in part to highlight the intricate details of the design. Silverwork is a northern Thai tradition and one that designer Sasithon Saisuk as adopted and innovated to create pieces that suit both traditional Thai and modern clothing styles.
