The Bird Who Loved to Swim Curated by: Koshari
Balinese artist, Nengah Sudarsana, creates stunningly beautiful and realistic water birds of wood, which he meticulously paints. A note from the artist: "When I was still quite young I knew I had an ability to translate nature into artful things of beauty. Because my life has always centered on animals and other natural themes, I use these as my subjects, usually interpreted in tropical woods. Now I have the opportunity to create art subjects incorporating not only Indonesian wildlife but also others from all corners of the earth."

About the Curator
I love world cultures, art, archaeology, ancient history and anything ethnic and tribal. I'm an advocate for human rights and the environment. I'm a 3D content creator in various virtual worlds. I love curating for Novica! It's a balancing act to add interesting and complimentary images from the mood gallery without taking away from, or overpowering the products ... it can be a challenge but one that I thoroughly love doing. There are so many great artisans to try to represent, I hope to eventually include all of them in my gallery.
