Mahmud's Lucky Dragonfish Curated by: Koshari
Mahmud is a young painter from East Java who has lived in Bali for several years. Painting has been his passion since he was a child. From the artist: "Most of my paintings depict the arwana, or dragon fish. I am fascinated with this particular fish, because it is a symbol of prosperity. We believe the dragon fish will bring success to its owner. Hopefully, it will bring good luck for me!?

About the Curator
I love world cultures, art, archaeology, ancient history and anything ethnic and tribal. I'm an advocate for human rights and the environment. I'm a 3D content creator in various virtual worlds. I love curating for Novica! It's a balancing act to add interesting and complimentary images from the mood gallery without taking away from, or overpowering the products ... it can be a challenge but one that I thoroughly love doing. There are so many great artisans to try to represent, I hope to eventually include all of them in my gallery.
