African beaded wood mask, 'Maame Ama'

So happy with this mask
I love the dimensions of this mask. Substantial but not overpowering. The bead colors are not quite as bright as pictured but really close. The metal work is superb. Overall gorgeous.I was particularly impressed by the packaging. Coming from Africa, the mask was first wrapped in Kraft wrapping paper, taped at each end, then a second same type wrapping. It was placed in a strong cardboard box that was just the size of the wrapped mask and didnt allow for movement inside. Definite pride by the craftsperson.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!
This mask is one of the most stunning pieces of art that I have ever had the privilege to own!!! I know I always leave positive reviews as you could see from my profile but this time I am ABSOLUTELY floored!!! I am so happy with it!!! Just a striking, original and fantastic mask. I am so in awe. I love masks and try to restrain myself so I dont have a house full of masks but this one just haunted me until I bought it and I just love it. Thanks so much, Novica!!! Never disappoints!!!
