Museum Quality Jaguar Warrior
I received Face of a Warrior today and truly love it. Jose Canil Ramos is a very talented artist. This mask will have a prominent place in my house and will be greatly admired by everyone who lays eyes on it. There are scores of jaguar warriors out there created by some very talented artists. I have another jaguar warrior mask, which I also love, but this mask is more dramatic and compelling. When I saw it, I had to have it. Kudos to a skillful and talented carver!
Perfect gift for my boyfriend who collects masks. Honestly breathtaking when I first opened it after it arrived.

AN INSTANT FAVORITE!
This piece is beautiful, sturdy, heavy and an absolute winner when it comes to conversation starters. Delivery was SUPER FAST and came with a personalized thank you note from the artist. Novica and the attached artists will always get my business when it comes to stylized pieces like this. Love it!

Framed by the open mouth of a fierce jaguar, the face of a Mayan warrior is depicted in this mask from Guatemala. Jose Canil Ramos designs this stunning mask, which is carved by hand from pinewood. One half of the warrior's face is a skull, a nod to the more grisly consequences of war.
