Central American Blue Serveware
So glad I bought this. To me, food seems to taste better when you serve it on something beautiful. This platter is gorgeous and perfecct for my home-made enchiladas and tacos. I've purchased several pieces in the turquoise color from this talented artist and will continue to buy more.
I have not seen this palo blanco wood bowl in person, because I bought it as a gift for my mother and had it shipped to her directly. She tells me that the wood grain is lovely. Natural wood and the color blue are two of her favorite things, so I thought this would be to her liking, and she does love it. Where the product description says the artisan "highlights the natural grain of palo blanco," you can believe it. (My father loved making things out of wood, and refinishing wooden antiques to restore the beauty of the woods, so my mother is a good judge of the work, I think.)
Just received this, and I'm so pleased! It's such a cute little jar, and the turquoise color is beautiful. I'm putting it on my coffee table to hold cat treats -- much more attractive than the bags the treats come in. Also, my sofa is turquoise, so this jar makes a wonderful little accent piece. It was shipped and received quickly. Would definitely buy again from this artisan.
