jewelry - womens - bracelets - cuff - leaf and tree - thailand
This bracelet is absolutely beautiful--delicate yet visible on my wrist. The ginkgo leaves are exquisitely made. For me, this is a very meaningful bracelet. I have ALWAYS worn a cuff bracelet on my right arm--for at least 45 years. (Yes, my origin is in the Pleistocene.) I have been a college English professor for 35 years. In fact, I got my 35 years of service recognition this spring at the liberal arts college I've taught all these years. The ginkgo tree is an important symbol for the college I teach at. There is one grand, spreading ginkgo tree that lights up the academic quad with golden leaves in the fall. When people retire, they often ask to have a ginkgo planted in their honor. When the college suffered the financial troubles so common to liberal arts colleges these days, the ginkgo's symbolic meaning of endurance and hope took on special power. In short (THAT wasn't short!), my ginkgo bracelet is the cuff bracelet I wear daily now. Thank you!
