Multi Stone Modern Rings from Bali and Java
By JB Robertson
They are absolutely beautiful! I bought two sets and I stacked them. The moonstone is my grandson's birthstone (or as close as I could get to a diamond at an affordable price), peridot is my granddaughter's and garnet is my daughter's. Just what I needed for the holidays!
I live far away from my parents, who always struggle to find something I like whenever they have to choose a present - in this case, my upcoming birthday. As soon as I received the confirmation that the opal was a solid cabochon and not a doublet, I decided to go for this ring (I paid the customs but I decided they don't have to know :P). The idea was that we're distant, but never apart... The ring is of outstanding manufacture, flawlessly polished, perfectly fitting, its shapes are unbelievably well finished (there is even a tiny recess where the two stones are supposed to meet). The two stones are shiny and fit perfectly together; the peaceful sky blue background is lighten up by sparkly and colourful rainbow fire. Sits well on my left middle finger where it was supposed to go, it's chunky but delicate at the same time, feels sturdy but it's light. It arrived an hour ago and it's already one of my most treasured possessions. Thank you mom and dad. And thank you Sir Caine!
