I purchased this to give to one of my dearest friends for her trip to Africa. It arrived at her house only the day before she left, and she immediately called me, in awe of its beauty. She told me later that it was so inspiring that she wrote in that journal almost every day of her trip, capturing precious once-in-a-lifetime moments with some of her extended family members. I then got a second one to give as a Christmas gift to a teenager that I mentor in science and math. She was incredibly touched and thought it was the most beautiful gift she?d ever been given! One day I?ll splurge on myself!!
cheerful frame for small pic
I like to bring home tourist info from my vacations and often see a great little picture of somewhere I was. This frame worked great for that. Puffed sides and pretty material. Well made.
Admittedly, these journals are smaller than I expected, but thats on me for not reading the description more thoroughly. It turns out that they are perfectly sized for my smallest purse, though! With my previous so-called small journals, I was unable to fit the notebook, my planner, my wallet, and all the assorted miscellany. That is not the case with these. Everything fits; theyll even fit in a pocket! As a writer, the convenience of being able to take them anywhere is invaluable. I find them to be ideal for writing haiku and short poems. The quality of the paper is superb, and they are beautiful, as well.

Handmade Paper Journal with 48 Pages, "Peacock Journeys"$23.99
A sapphire peacock of golden wings and an emerald and sapphire tail is the proud national bird of India. It graces the cover of this handcrafted journal, whose back cover replicates an ancient postcard with a court stamp paper and immigration stamp. The screen printed images are bordered by olive green cotton, including the ribbon. From Asha Prabha, the journal features 48 pages of blank handmade paper.
