Silk tunic, 'Dreaming of Simplicity'
By Kathryne
Lovelier in person!
I find the light-colored garments photos do not always do the workmanship of the artisan proper justice. This is a lovely garment, very delicate, and could be dressed up or down to fit a wide range of wearing occasions. Thank you, Artisan Sandip Agarwal and Novica.
Handmade paper journal, 'Kingfisher Memoirs'
By Anita
Beautiful Work
I collect journals, especially unique ones, and I also collect bird figurines in pottery, ceramic and glass and bird paintings. The kingfisher is one of my favorites because it is so colorful. Artisan Asha Prabha has done a masterful job with this handmade paper journal. The back cover reproduces an antique postcard.
Wood sculpture, 'Serene Buddha II'
By Susan
So beautiful
This blew me away when I opened it. I saw the back first and it is awesome, a separate sculpture is attached to back which is a lotus with a lovely face! Then I saw the front and it is the most beautiful Buddha I have ever seen! It is perfectly done and this artist is unbelievably talented! I love, love, love it! Thankyou!
