Favorite Jewelry box and art piece
I have a few pieces of jewelry I wear often, and this is the perfect place to store them in my office. I love Frida Kahlo and this box is gorgeous.
Made a great gift
I had the Two Fridas box sent to a friend for her birthday. She loved it!! It came wrapped in several layers of wrapping , so she said half the fun was unwrapping it. Made a unique gift. Thank you Ana for your artistry!
I ordered this box as a Christmas gift for my wife. She is a fan of Frida Kahlo. It arrived after Christmas which made it stand out. She loves it! Thank you!

Mexican Decorative Box in Decoupage featuring Frida Kahlo, "Two Fridas in Turquoise"$29.99
Ana Maria González pays tribute to Mexican artist Frida Kahlo with this antique-style decorative box. Crafted of pinewood, it depicts the famous 1939 self-portrait "The Two Fridas" on the lid. The box's body is decorated with flowers and dragonflies over a turquoise blue sky. Immortalized in film, Kahlo and her great love – muralist Diego Rivera – were leaders in Mexico's artistic and intellectual world during the first half of the 20th century.
Handcrafted Frida Kahlo Colorful Ceramic Decorative Plate, "Fantastic Frida"$47.99
The striking image of Frida Kahlo gazes out from this colorful handcrafted ceramic plate. Designed by Mexican artisan Maria Isabel Cruz, the plate is made using the centuries-old dry rope technique, in which a wax mixture is applied to the outlines of the image or motif prior to glazing. The wax mixture creates a barrier that keeps the different fill colors in the design separate during firing, before burning off to reveal the blackened ceramic beneath. The plate can be hung on a wall for display via the nylon cord on the back.
Kaho Art Decorative Box, "The Two Fridas"$39.99
The life and times of great Mexican artist Frida Kahlo inspire Ana Maria Gonzalez. She treasures Kahlo's work in a pinewood box ideal for the display and storage of tea bags. Gonzalez decorates the box with decoupage techniques featuring the legendary "Two Fridas," which Kahlo painted in 1939. It is believed to express her feelings at the time of her divorce from renowned Mexican artist and muralist, Diego Rivera. The box features four interior compartments, while the exterior is finished with a unique tar-based polish for an antique look.
Floral Frida-Themed Ceramic Wall Art from Mexico, "Frida and Her Flowers"$44.99
Wearing a corona of red roses, renowned Mexican artist Frida Kahlo is depicted in this piece of circular ceramic wall art from Mexico. Maria Isabel Cruz creates this piece, crafted in the centuries-old style known as the dry rope technique, in which a wax mixture made of magnesium oxide and fat are applied to the outlines of the image or motif prior to glazing. The wax mixture creates a barrier that keeps the different fill colors in the design separate during firing, before burning off to reveal the blackened ceramic beneath. A length of nylon cord on the back provides for easy hanging.
