Windows open in a cloud of fog where flowers peek out at the sky. Working in water-based inks, Renu Jaiswal explores the problems of urban sprawl. "My theme is the deteriorating state of greenery in the cities," the Indian artist confides. "I depict flowers and buildings trying to survive together, yet the grey shades show how cities and development are taking over the green belt."
