Raphat Asigbey designs a vibrant mask with bold colors that will jump off your wall. Ghanaian artisans carry out Raphat's vision by hand carving the mask from local sese wood before embellishing the cheeks and forehead with aluminum plate. The artisan calls his creation Butsomekpoe, a Ghanaian Ewe word that means, "think of tomorrow."

Raphat is not only a master craftsman, but he is a very talented artist as well. I love the stool, and it will be handed down to generations after me. Thanks again, Raphat!
