The Rupan plate is a symbol of ancient Guatemalan ceremonial plates that was adapted to textiles and used in traditional attire like the huipil. Artisan Mirian Otzin takes inspiration from this symbol for the front of this beautiful shoulder bag hand-woven from cotton in hues of blue, burgundy, mustard, pink, orange and green while the navy blue back features light blue vertical stripes. The bag comes with chestnut suede straps, black cotton lining and a zipper closure. It has an internal pocket and a charming blue and black tassel as decoration.

This beautiful headband not only keeps my messy hair in place; it also acts as a constant reminder of the direction i am headed- to heaven, of course. Nothing less would suffice, for those who dont compromise!

This casual cover is well-made, looks good, and seems very durable for use (grandkids like to play...) and decoration.
