Spring lets tender and gentle sensations bloom in everybody's hearts, inspiring Balinese artisan Buana to create this exquisite design in honour of nature and true love. After long hours working with sterling silver, the final result is these gorgeous dangle earrings, which feature leafy motifs and hand-carved bone flowers that add a heavenly white light. As the main pieces, faceted blue topaz jewels crown the accessories with a celestial hue often associated with loyalty.

“Statement piece”

This pendant is gorgeous. I wear it with a black cord, so all attention is on the pendant itself. Its one of my favorite pieces.

Buana is a master silversmith. He designs and crafts his jewelry collection using a combination of traditional and modern jewelry making techniques. Buana and his silversmiths share their knowledge and train younger artisans that join the workshop.

Microcredit Financing

Buana has received 14 microcredit loans with 0% interest from Kiva and Novica, the first for $2400 and the most recent for $7000. Proceeds were used to invest in a purchase of natural gemstones and silver for his jewelry.

Caring for Children

When Buana first began to work, he was fearful that he would be unable to care for his first child. Now he proudly cares for two.

Buana provides for the education of his two children.
