The short-sleeved sweater in jet black is knit from a soft combination of cotton and baby alpaca, the fine fleece from the season's first shearing. Designed by Violeta Pacheco in Peru, the season-spanning pullover sweater features a round neck, short sleeves and a shirttail hem.

“Handmade???”

I own only handknit jumpers, which are unique, irregular artisan pieces. This jumper is too perfect to be handknit as all the seams and knit are exacting like a machine made one. Im not too sure how handmade is being defined here but Im not sure it matches mine. The finish is too flawless compared to any modern or traditional handknit from the Scottish Isles, Ireland, or Scandinavia. I even have some USA handknits that are five decades old that are still wearing gloriously. Its not my intent to be mean but this garment is a disappointment-maybe my standards are just different...apologies

“Super soft!”

I love how lightweight and soft this cardigan is. It fits true to size and even though it is lightweight, is not see through. Beautiful shade of red.
