I've been looking for a necklace that would look good with any attire, and this is it. I've been shopping for a 16-18" necklace that I could wear with just about anything, but especially casual clothes. All my shorter necklaces are either gold or silver and kind of blah. I wanted something unique. Novica was the answer I'd gotten other items from Novica and was always satisfied. When I came across their new African collection, I browsed and found this beautiful necklace. I wear it around the house, and out-and-about. I recommended it highly.
Thank you dear Mr. Ila Suleyman for the love and passion you put into your work, making this beautiful necklace. It is of quality and has a very nice style. It will be cherished. We are sending you good wishes for your health and well being. The wrapping presentation was indeed an asset and an embellishment to receiving your work. Very nice indeed. All the best ! This item is highly recommended.
And I didn't even have to remove my shoes! The exquisite artistry strung in wooden beads speaks volumes of a vibrant culture. One can vicariously imagine the pulse of,say, a market on the outskirts of Accra where I might haggle good-naturedly over the price of her creation with Elizabeth Alorchie-Apetor! Africa travels well. kudos to the artisans' of NOVICA! Thank You Elizabeth! John.
"My forefathers were predominantly millet and cattle farmers, and they would use the leather of the animals for accessories such as talismans, bangles and necklaces for personal use."
