Fall Blue Serveware
Our two "Ocean Tides" bowls provide a beautiful splash of blue in our kitchen. Well made, they are very practical for displaying fruit and vegetables on the counter as well as good functional serving bowls. They complement our other Putu Oka Mahendra bowls, and we look forward to more offerings from this artist.
I've placed this item on various tables and shelves in the house. It can go anywhere and I have a lot of decor and switch things around from time to time. I think it's finally found it's home, along with some other objets d'art, atop curio cabinet filled with ocean related items, large shells, etc. It does not need to be with other art of the same style. I have not yet used it as a teapot, I keep forgetting.
This was a gift for my significant other, who has begun creating his own colorful chicken tacos for dinner. This platter created the ideal setting for his tacos , as the color now fully comes to life and is almost too beautiful to disturb! Bettina Jensen
