The wood is heavy and well-crafted. Drawers are wide and deep enough to store much of my jewelry and the side panels for pendants and necklaces are great.
Brave Swan box
This was a gift for my daughter's college graduation. Amazing ornamentation makes this box quite special. It looks beautiful and has a generous size. Certainly one can store in it more than just jewelries. The thought that it is all handmade is quite compelling. Considering it was coming from Peru, the shipping was prompt. (when ordering check the time of delivery estimates , which are accurate on the website). Thank you for your hard work and talent, Kelvin Maguina! Best wishes!

Rectangular Handcrafted Floral Reverse-Painted Glass Mirror, "Scarlet Flame"$244.99
Golden flames surround floral garlands on brilliant scarlet. By Marcos Luzalde, the mirror frame is carved from mohena, a fine Peruvian hardwood similar to mahogany. He then paints the flowers by hand on the reverse side of glass panes and inlays them around the looking glass. Bronze gilt on the borders adds a golden shine.
Red Reverse-Painted Glass Wall Mirror from Peru, "Ruby Medallion"$127.99
Like a medallion of singular beauty, this mirror honors Cajamarca's legendary reverse-painted glass legacy. Asunta Pelaez takes great care to craft this fascinating mirror according to techniques that have been passed through generations.
Colonial Leather Pouf Ottoman Cover, "Spanish Elegance"$159.99
Elegant floral motifs recall Spanish design, rippling in low relief across burnished leather. They encircle a delightful ottoman cover, crafted by hand. Working in tooled leather, the Rios Family creates a versatile ottoman with a side handle.
Filling not included. For filling we recommend polystyrene beans, commonly used for beanbags and similar items. These and similar filling materials can often be found at local crafts stores, packaging suppliers, and even mattress or futon outlets. An opening on the bottom for inserting the filling material can be opened with the leather laces.
Fair Trade Cedar Wood Leather Brown Stool, "Colonial Guard"$99.99
A splendid replica from the past, this accent stool evokes the interior décor of colonial Peru. Elegantly handcrafted by Abel Rios, it features a leather seat delicately embossed in the form of a stylish wreath and foam filling for comfort. Standing on elegantly hand-carved cedar wood legs, this stool is perfect for a classic décor.
