Iron wall sculpture, 'Monarch Butterfly Tree'
By Horsewoman
Beyond Expectations
This butterfly tree sculpture far surpasses our expectations! The detail is extraordinary, the colors are even richer than shown on the website and the workmanship is beyond reproach. Because of the weight and size of this art work, we have not yet hung it on our patio. When we have done so, I will update the review with photos. I have looked for almost ten years for wall art to cover an obtrusive telephone box on the stucco wall in one corner of our patio. Because the box extends almost 4 out from the wall and is over 6 wide it has been difficult to find anything to truly cover this ugly spot in our otherwise lovely patio area. This butterfly tree will not only cover the box, but is going to elevate the patio to a whole new level of pleasure for us. Additionally, we can enjoy this art from inside, as our family room windows look out onto the patio and this corner of the house. It is going to be perfect and we can hardly wait to get the tree planted!

Absolutely Stunning
I waited for a few years to buy this amazing tapestry, and it was worth the wait. I cannot adequately express how much I love it. It hangs at the end of my hallway for everyone to see.Mr. Ochoa is a gifted fiber artist!
Wool tapestry, 'Origin and Fauna'
By EDGUBI
The cats are creepy, but I love it regardless!
Eliazar Ochoa is one of half a dozen Peruvian artisans whose page I try to check every month or so for new work; I had a rug and another tapestry by him already. I love depictions of animals. especially when they are animals you dont commonly see depicted as with llamas and rheas, two distinctly South American animals (my other tapestry from him is all condors). And while purple is my favorite color, I do like orange as well, and I saw there was a bit of purple in this. This tapestry currently occupies pride of place, on the door to my office. Which means that at close range, Ive realized the faces of the cats are kind of creepy. But Im not really sure how you could do better on a loom, and I have also seen much worse cat faces! As I look at them more, I think I definitely prefer : | to a badly done : 3 (the most popular simplified cat face), and it makes a lot more sense on a loom as well!
