Multicolored squares populate concentric rectangles of blue in this beautiful hand-loomed area rug from Gerardo Fernandez in Peru. The artisan uses pure wool yarns that have been dyed only with pigments derived from local, natural materials to create the rug. The bold design lends itself nicely to both traditional and contemporary decor.

"Exquisite rug!"
I could not be more pleased with this beautiful Peruvian rug. We bought one years ago for one bathroom and now have another for our second bathroom. They are extremely practical as well as beautiful. I lay it on top of another bathroom rug to give it a cushiony feel underfoot. It washes beautifully. Wonderful to have such art in my house.
