Upcycled Metal Auto Part Deer Candle Holder from Mexico, "Deer Rib"
Working with pieces of upcycled metal, Mexican artisan Armando Ramirez creates a candle holder to make a striking addition to your home. Ramirez works with recycled rebar, screws, nuts, and scrap metal, handcrafting the image of a deer. The rebar resembles the deer's ribs, creatively cut away for a contemporary aesthetic. Inside the deer's rib cage is a space for holding a tealight candle.

"Stunning abstract art piece"
It is not often I open an ordered piece from an artisan and find my breath taken away. That was my experience when I unwrapped Mr. Ramirez piece, Deer Rib. This is a fiercely animated piece created with skilled imagination. Although it is well designed to hold a tea light I find the gap in the rib cage an artistic statement on its own. It will stand proudly within the entryway of my home.

"Love the work from this artisan!"
We have purchased many pieces from Armando Ramirez and they are all exceptional. The smaller pieces make for thoughtful, deliberate gifts for just about everyone on a holiday list. From a teacher to a x ray tech, the options are phenomenal. The larger pieces are truly amazing and will be collected as art work that will be passed down. They are really amazing,affordable handmade works of art.( I have a few earmarked for special occasions hint,hint hubby. ) I have found that the key holder ones work really well as a perfect place for our keys as well as our masks! Now it is impossible to leave without a mask as they are hanging together on a beautiful piece of practical artwork! Highly recommend!

"Reflect on the past"

"A one of a kind"
