Traditional Zapotec Hand Woven Striped Runner Rug , "Ancient Ones"
Intertwining in meticulous patterns, rich colors ripple across an extraordinary rug. Virgin wool lends its strength and softness to the beautiful design by Gregorio Ruiz Lopez. Evoking the moods of the Zaachila archaeological site in the state of Oaxaca, he weaves precise patterns on the traditional handloom. Titled "Zaachila" in Spanish.
Because each rug is individually woven, measurements could vary +/- 2 inches (5 cm).

"Rug works well in our bedroom."
Beautiful colors and pattern. Fringe is also a nice touch, though a tad uncomfortable when you step on it barefoot. But still glad I purchased this lovely rug! Great craftmanship.

Received my Stars on Earth Zapotec rug yesterday and was blown-away by the product quality and the artistic beauty Gregorio Ruiz created. I will continue to follow Gregorio. Also, first time discovering Novica and, my oh my, what a joy.
