Signed Impressionist Painting of a Tree-Lined Road, "Central Avenue - Quinta da..."

Located among other popular tourist locations, Brazil's Quinta da Boa Vista park is captured in the impressionist style. Using expressive colors and forms that blend together, J. Simoes Lopes paints a row of reddened sapucaia trees that hang over Central Avenue, framed against the park, itself, and even farther away, the city of Rio de Janeiro.
