Rayon Chenille Scarf Woven by Hand, "Solola Afternoon"
Talented women weavers from K'amolon K'i K'ojonel create an elegant, ombré-effect scarf on a traditional backstrap loom. Working with rayon made from bamboo fiber, they weave the colorful accessory in shades of orange, yellow, green, turquoise and red.

"Fabulous accessorie, for an old tee or fine dress"
Fascinatingly BEAUTIFUL! This is my second purchase of this extraordinary weaving. The first is a different colorway, (the aqua, sea foam & nutmeg..its wonderful) I am an artist, painter, colorist by birth, meaning Color comes naturally. Despite being an art teacher, I could never explain How I arrive at seeing color except for observing Nature. This scarf arrived today, it is around my neck as I type, then glance down and am lost in the beauty of the weaving of blues into a yellow ochre, paprika, mossy green floats to soft teal. The photographs are accurate, but cannot convey the complexity of the interplay of the weave. Im in an old deep blue shirt over a paprika sweater. In other words, nothing dressed up, its 2am! Insomnia from pain due to recent disability, I shall never likely travel farther than another doctors appointment, I am Grateful to have a Connection with another artist, a woman with a joyful smile. I smile back to her and say I Thank YOU your talent and skill.

"Perfect accessory"
This scarf feels so soft to wear and because of the colours in it, it goes with several of my outfits. It hass quite luxurious feel and I enjoy wearing it as often as possible

"Absolutely beautiful"

"¡Qúe bonito!"
The photo does not do justice to this beautiful scarf. The woven fabric is delicate and the colors beautifully melt into each other. It came incredibly quickly from Guatemala.

Im so happy with this scarf. It is absolutely beautiful and very versatile. I made a beautiful outfit for work with it, but can see it used for a more relaxed outfit as well.Thanks so much to the artisans who wove it! Well done!

"Beautiful, wearable art!!"
I absolutely love this scarf!!! I have at least 20, but this is now my favorite! The colors are gorgeous, and the material is fine and comfortable. I was afraid that it would be bulky, but it isnt, and it lays perfectly. This is now my favorite, go-to scarf!! It turns any plain outfit into something special!

"Magical Moon Bag"
Ever since I ordered this bag, its the only bag i use. Perfect size, gorgeous material and so well made, theres nothing else like it around! It also holds a lot more than you would think, which is great with 2 kids as far as nappies, snacks etc as well as your usual essentials.
