Natural and Navy Pine Needle Decorative Basket, "Stellar Enchantment"
For an enchanting addition to your home, this decorative basket is created by Tamara Pereira in Nicaragua. She works with natural pine needles, weaving them together by hand with navy and antique white thread to create intricate starry details. A loop on the back makes this basket perfect for hanging on a wall.

"Pleasing and Functional Pine Needle Baskets"
One of my sons gave me a book last Christmas about basketweaving, and it contained instructions for pine-needle weaving, which Id never seen before. I thought, Look on Novica, and there were Ms. Pereiras gorgeous baskets and coasters. Over the months Ive bought several for myself. The colors are vibrant and the weaving beautiful. I am giving sets to my children for birthdays. I love how the coasters are fragrant when you put a cup of hot tea on them. I used the baskets myself for many things, sewing, utensils, fruit. I also have the multicolored ones and those with the loops on top. All are wonderful!

"Love the color and shape!"
Although these baskets were smaller than I expected, I still like them and think they are beautiful! They do sit slightly wonky (not flat) but I still like them!

"Beautiful colors"
Although these baskets are smaller than I expected, they are beautiful colors and shapes and I like them despite being a little wonky and out of shape when they arrived! (They don t quite sit flat, but maybe they will in time? ????? I don t know, but I still like them! ?? LOL!

"Horsehair?"
This was another gift for Christmas for my friend. She was interested in what it was made of, horse hair. To me there was only two left and had to jump on it. And no iits not horsehair, but pine needles. Interesting that when it arrived in Miami they were holding it in custom for a few hours to see if it could safely enter.
