Details

In yellow and a variety of other vibrant colors, this striking bow tie is made of handwoven cotton kente cloth. Ghana's Deborah Osei Boakye designs this striking accessory. This tie is named Edwin Asa, meaning "above all designs" in Akan. An elastic strap encircles the neck, so this accessory does not have to be tied.

Because the tie is cut from a much larger piece of kente cloth, colors and their placement may vary slightly.

"Ultimate Light"

This arrived this afternoon and it is gorgeous. Stunning would be the best word. This is perhaps the most beautiful piece I own. The colors are magnificent and the workmanship is that of a true artist. I will treasure this piece and will buy more in other colors. Thank you Deborah.
