India's national bird, peacocks also symbolize grace, joy, beauty and love. Two peacocks are painted freehand with lavish detail on a decorative plate carved of Makrana marble. From Manish Jalwal, the plate is decorated with gold leaf accents and shiny beads.
Marble quarried at Makrana is regarded as a high quality marble that tends to acquire an ivory hue with the passing of time.
Includes seesham wood stand and velvet lined storage box.

"Unbelievably beautiful"
I was nervous ordering as this was a gift for an important person at my job, but when I opened this item for the first time I was absolutely blown away by how beautiful these coasters were. The quality and craftsmanship is incredible. I am still awestruck. I could tell this was packed with extreme care and arrived in perfect condition. Now I don t want to give it away!

"Beautifully hand painted"
I love the coasters. I did not want the red velvet box. I gave a 4 because they are exceptionally small. It is my fault for not reading the measurements.

"Not so legendary"
Without a doubt this plate has taken hours to finish and I must give credit to the painter but overall this gift was disappointing. The red velvety box it came with was poorly made and it smelled so strong due to chemicals used to make it and the plate holder was left outside the box instead of making a space inside for it. I almost threw the plate holder because it was thrown inside the shipping box like a separate piece which I did not even notice at the bottom. I ended up buying a different gift and ask Novica for a refund.
