In an ornate sterling silver setting fit for a queen, lapis lazuli's blue depths are mesmerizing. India's Neeru Goel presents the original pendant necklace design, in which the lapis cabochon is set in a rope-edged bezel and adorned with traditional jali openwork. Lapis lazuli also represents September´s birthstone. The pendant is centered on a sterling silver cable chain.

Frankly, everything Neetu Goell designs is a work of art. And this lapis pendant is no exception. It?s feminine yet strong in design and I love wearing it with the ring and earrings she made. Just the right length for the chain, too. LOVE her work!

"Beautiful but it fell apart the first time I wore it"
This is a beautiful necklace, but the only problem is I had to return it because the first time I wore it, it fell apart , the beads fell to the floor scattering everywhere. This is the second necklace from this artist where this has happened. I was hoping Id get lucky this time. I love her work but am disinclined to purchase anything more because of the poor quality string that is used. It is a thread, not a string or wire or cord.
