The wax-resist dyeing technique of batik is found in many cultures, but nowhere is it as renowned as in Java. In this batik scarf from Melati's Collection, a Javanese garden paradise of turquoise, black, and white flowers decorate a golden background of pure silk.

"Gorgeous and nice weight silk"
Beautiful Scarf, nice weight to the silk. One thoughtful touch, she lightly put a couple of stiches into the label so it is easy to remove. So many of the scarves are greatly depreciated in appearance by the beige NOVICA labels machine sewed into the scarf. Thank you!
