Celebrated by the Odumase people in the eastern region of Ghana, the Dipo is a festival characterized by dance and other festivities. Eric Kwafo creates this wall sculpture, which depicts a female Dipo dancer as she strikes a pose. This sculpture is hand-carved from a single piece of sese wood, given a polished black finish.
