Delivery EstimateThe soft textures of an almond tree leaf take shape in golden bronze in this delicate sculpture. Pietrina Checcacci shares her love of nature with a series of realistic leaf sculptures. She uses a natural leaf to create a mold and finishes it with a combination of polished and oxidized patinas for a beautiful gold-speckled finish.
Born in Italy, Pietrina moved to Brazil as a young girl and has lived there ever since. She works in a multitude of media like painting, drawing, printing, and sculpture. Her work focuses on the relationship between humans and Earth, and has received multiple awards at home and abroad.
