Earth-Toned Wool Area Rug (4x6.5), "Oaxacan Lands"
In a versatile palette of earthy neutrals, this area rug from Gregorio Ruiz in Mexico makes a wonderful addition to any decor. The rug is crafted in time-honoured Oaxacan style, using pure wool that has been tinted with natural pigments obtained from local materials. The Zapotec motifs are created on a traditional pedal loom.

"Rug works well in our bedroom."
Beautiful colors and pattern. Fringe is also a nice touch, though a tad uncomfortable when you step on it barefoot. But still glad I purchased this lovely rug! Great craftmanship.

"Gregorio Ruiz is a Master Craftsman!"
Received my Stars on Earth Zapotec rug yesterday and was blown-away by the product quality and the artistic beauty Gregorio Ruiz created. I will continue to follow Gregorio. Also, first time discovering Novica and, my oh my, what a joy. Received a personalized postcard from Novica Mexico and the descriptive tag accompanying the rug brought great warmth and joy to this item.
