Inspired by ancient Egyptian civilization, Seth Korkordi Selom of Ghana paints this original acrylic on canvas composition. The depicts two Egyptian men facing each other, with three hieroglyphic symbols between them. At the top is the Eye of Horus, an ancient Egyptian symbol of protection, royal power and good health. In the middle is an ankh, a symbol of life itself. At the bottom is Horus, an Egyptian deity represented by a falcon. The painting is rendered in warm earth tones.
