Cotton kente scarf, "Net"
Woven by hand, this exceptional kente cloth scarf features black rectangles on a white background. Alternating squares show a fishnet pattern giving the scarf its name – Do, or "Net" in the Ewe language. By Gobah Tengey-Seddoh, each strip requires considerable effort, and the looms are worked with both hands and feet. The patterns themselves are carefully chosen symbols, which a master weaver develops and names, often to honor people, historical events or proverbs.

"Exquisite Pattern!"
I can wear this with a suit or jeans. It dresses up anything. I always get compliments on it, and people wonder where I got it. I always tell them. I have scarves from all over the world. This is the best way to get them without traveling.

"Beautiful workmanship"
I received the scarf today and I am so glad. It is a beautiful scarf that I am going to gift with the Kente backpack that I ordered before. I am sure this will be a special gift for the person I am giving it to. It is beautifully done with gold keys and stripes.
