Huichol (Wixarika) artisans are afforded great liberty in the depiction of the animals and other figures they cover in beadwork. This jaguar head ceramic sculpture by Miguel Diaz of Guadalajara, Mexico comes with red as it primary colour, drawing the eye particularly to the mouth with its sharp teeth.

"My boyfriend loved it!"
My boyfriend says his spirit animal is the bison, and we both love huichol art so this was the perfect anniversary gift for him and he absolutely loved it! Id love to see bigger pieces of this kind of art.

"This buffalo is Awesome"
Pictures do not do this buffalo justice. The seed work is meticulous. I am in awe of this magnificent animal and have a large collection of buffalo figures. This seeded figure is one of my favorites.
