Balinese Hand Painted and Hand Carved Wood Buddha Statuette, "Buddha Bless You"
Balinese artisan Gung Gus has been carving since childhood, taking part in a family tradition that spans generations. This hand-carved and hand-painted statuette depicts Buddha in a blessing pose, standing on a giant lotus flower. Carved from natural crocodile wood and artfully painted with acrylic paint, it is signed by the artisan.

"A beautiful box"
I bought this box for a friend as a gift. She call me to say that she really loved the gift and told me about how she was outside just the other day and a butterfly came and sat right next to her, it looked just like the one one the box. Since this is not butterfly season her husband said it might have been an angel. To say the least she really loved the box.

"Lovely Blooming Box!"
This little wooden box is even more beautiful than its picture portrays! The palette of colors that Gung Gus uses is particularly attractive. I have a passion for unique artisan made boxes! This one is like the rendering of a detail from a great tapestry! The interior is perfectly finished too. Its so remarkable that a tiny wooden box can be truly transformed into a lovely Lily Pond! "Beautiful and peaceful"
Such a beautiful mask. So well painted. It is peaceful to just look at this mask and see both the beauty of nature and the peacefulness of Buddha. I have purchased several mask and each one has been amazing.
