Artisan Emmanuel Atiemoh Yeboah creates this bold African mask artwork using a mixture of traditional batik styles and creative collage techniques. Inspired in his colour palette by the West African sunrise, he begins by embellishing calico cotton cloth with speckles of red and blue, before cutting out the shapes intended for colourful batik cloth which are then glued together to create the fierce African mask. The vibrant collage is backed with cardstock and framed with black ceiba wood.
