Julio Molina makes a commentary on the relationship between humans and machines in this modern mixed media collage. He combines the organic shapes and textures of cedar, mahogany, pine, and cypress woods and with the artificial facade of a circuit board. "This piece is inspired by the transhumanism that we are currently experiencing," he explains. "The wood represents human beings, and the buttons and the microchip represent machines."
