Wilder Yauri works in super-soft baby alpaca, a fiber so luxurious it was once reserved for Inca royalty. It revels in the unique properties of baby alpaca, the finest lightweight fleece obtained from the season's first shearing.

Wilder developed a love for textiles from an early age. He grew up watching his grandfather making blankets and was schooled in the art of weaving by his aunt, who was a master weaver. As a young man, he went to Lima to study textile engineering and returned to his hometown where he is now a master weaver himself and teaches at the local weaving school.
