I almost hope my mom doesn’t like it...

...so I can keep it! This is a contemporary take on a glass bird. Rather than going for realism, it’s not textured like feathers not all the primary color of the bird. There are areas of canary yellow glass inside the clear glass. Sometimes simplicity is still very cool. My mom collects glass and a few ceramic birds, but this one will be unique. If she loves it, great! If she doesn’t love it, I’ll happily keep it and I am honestly have enough tchotchkes!

Love my little dragonfly!

Thank you Katia and Ivan. This little dragonfly will always remind me a magical moment after church one Sunday when a beautiful green dragonfly came to visit with us outside as we were talking. That Dragonfly was HUGE... and was also green. I had never seen one that big before. It swooped in very close to us as we were talking and stayed for a while. I have this one hanging in my kitchen window - welcoming that dragonfly friend to come and visit at my house anytime.
