Wood percussion instrument, 'Spoons'
By Devb
Music - it is so universal
These spoons are not aligned. Of course, Bali has no idea of the climatic changes the wood would undergo enroute to US. Harsh temperature changes can make a big difference to any acoustic musical instrument. But I am so happy, I got it. It will work, if you want to make it work. I may disassemble it and realign the spoons, but this juncture it is a great percussion instrument. Keep up the good work Ms. Trisna Dewi.
Coconut shell percussion instrument, 'Swimming Turtle'
By Marnie
Another percussion instrument for my Christmas family band!
I already reviewed two more instruments made by Mrs. Dewi, and this one rates 5 stars as the others do. It makes a nice musical noise when you shake it and also is very pretty and nicely painted. I very much like and enjoy the items she makes that can be used to make music; they are a lot of fun.
Wood and coconut shell maraca, 'Coconut Tune'
By Devb
Piece of art
I compare Trisnas piece to a few coconut shell percussion instruments I found with Native Americans. They are all beautiful. This maraca stands out unique.
