Made a great gift
I had the Two Fridas box sent to a friend for her birthday. She loved it!! It came wrapped in several layers of wrapping , so she said half the fun was unwrapping it. Made a unique gift. Thank you Ana for your artistry!
this will be a family treasure
my daughter made a specific point of asking for this for her home...i am lucky to have it now in my home until she is settled and then she will have a beautiful handcrafted piece that is significant to our culture and heritage while whimsical and fun
Beautiful Little Box
This is the cutest little wooden box. The design is beautiful and it's very well made. It has two metal hinges on the back, which make it so easy to open and close. Perfect size for storing a pair of eyeglasses or sunglasses. I have bought many pieces from the artist and have been pleased with all of my purchases.

"Before I joined my father, I got together with a few of my friends and started an NGO for blood donation. We would donate blood ourselves and encourage others to donate."

Mexican Decorative Box in Decoupage featuring Frida Kahlo, "Two Fridas in Turquoise"$29.99
Ana Maria González pays tribute to Mexican artist Frida Kahlo with this antique-style decorative box. Crafted of pinewood, it depicts the famous 1939 self-portrait "The Two Fridas" on the lid. The box's body is decorated with flowers and dragonflies over a turquoise blue sky. Immortalized in film, Kahlo and her great love – muralist Diego Rivera – were leaders in Mexico's artistic and intellectual world during the first half of the 20th century.
Day of the Dead Decorative Box, "Happy Catrina"$37.99
Grinning Catrina frolics in a decoupage collage as Ana María González commemorates Day of the Dead with a colorful treasure chest. The word is widely used in Mexico to mean "elegant and polished." Lithographer Jose Guadalupe Posadas created the skeletal Catrina, who was later immortalized in the murals of Diego Rivera. In Mexico, the Day of the Dead is about celebrating the life of those who have passed, rather than mourning their deaths. People visit graves with offerings, including bright floral displays.
Part of NOVICA's Dia de los Muertos collection.
