Fine design, well executed
This cape is softer than I expected and beautifully knit. Purchased for a wheelchair bound disabled woman who has difficulty dressing, this is easy to put on and wear as a top layer (as shown in the picture) in cold weather.

Merino Wool Trellis-Stitch Convertible Cape from Ireland, "Aran Islands"$165
Made in Ireland from super-soft 100% merino wool, this poncho is very versatile. It is a garment that can be worn three ways--as a smart cape, a stylish poncho or a cozy shrug. The poncho features trellis stitching, which traditionally represents protection.
For best results, turn garment inside-out before washing. Do not wring or twist.
Knit Beige Baby Alpaca Turtleneck Poncho with Sleeve Cuffs, "Andean Enchantment"$139.99
By Jorge Molina, this poncho is knitted of luxurious alpaca wool, renowned for its lightweight warmth. Its snug turtleneck is trimmed by a cedar wood button. The tan collar repeats the tone of cuff sleeves that emerge near the poncho's hem.
Hand Made Cotton Knit Poncho, "Ivory Grace"$82.99
Knitted of natural ivory cotton, this handsome poncho sweater reveals a delightful texture. It falls from a generous neckline for elegance and grace. Luisa Villavicencio's family cultivates cotton in several natural colors – jade, (cocoa) and unbleached ivory cotton. In fact, people are surprised to learn that no dyes are used in her work. The family is involved in the entire process, from growing the cotton, to weaving it and transforming it into apparel.
