It’s October and still summer here in San Diego. The days are hot and the nights are warm and my mentality is still geared towards the beach. The need for boots, sweaters and even socks is non-existent. The fan stays on at night. The warm pink sunsets are endless. They say it’s because of El Nino.
So what this means to me is extending summer fashion as long as possible. This gorgeous Silk Crimson Reflecting Pools Shawl, to me, is perfect for both summer and the transition into fall. Summer because it’s as light as a feather and fall because of its rich tones. I am in love with it.
What I also love about this summer shawl is its versatility. It could be worn as a scarf, a shawl, a beach cover up and used as decor for your home. I love how these colors look against gold accents. I honestly couldn’t decide if I’d rather wear it or have it draped over my coffee table. And as I was playing around with it today, the thought popped in my mind to hang it as a sheer drape and how gorgeous it would be with the sun shining through it.
